Warfighter Sports Weekend
What
Each year Blue Ridge Adaptive Snow Sports (BRASS) hosts a Warfighter Sports Weekend at Liberty Mountain Resort in Fairfield, PA. BRASS welcomes warriors who are severely wounded service members. The military personnel will spend the weekend at Liberty Mountain learning to ski and snowboard. Their success with snow sports can be both fun and empowering. (see Warfighter Sports below)

How It All Happens
BRASS provides this snow sports opportunity to the Warfighters free of charge, including transportation, lodging, meals, adaptive equipment and individualized instruction. Fundraising efforts are underway to underwrite the cost of the Warfighter Sports weekend.
Volunteers will plan and run the event for the benefit of the Warfighters while involving the community. Businesses from Fairfield, Gettysburg and other towns are welcoming the Warfighters and working to enhance their visit to South Central Pennsylvania.
Since the BRASS Snow Sports weekend is offered free of charge to the Warfighters and their families, BRASS must raise the funds needed to host the event. Please send donations to: BRASS, P.O. Box 1414, Severna Park, MD 21146. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
For any questions about making a donation for the Warfighter Sports Weekend, you can email us.
A Season of Warfighter Sports
Believing in the power of snow sports, BRASS also hosts wounded service men and women throughout the season. Our goal is to provide development opportunities with ongoing lessons for individuals.
