About Blue Ridge Adaptive Snow Sports (BRASS)

Blue Ridge Adaptive Snow Sports, Inc. (BRASS) is a nonprofit (501 (c) (3)) organization and a chapter of Disabled Sports USA. Our mission is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities through adaptive snow sports and recreational activities.

We achieve our purpose by offering ski and snowboard instruction for people with disabilities at Liberty Mountain Resort in south central Pennsylvania.

BRASS is led and run by volunteers dedicated to providing an exciting experience for the students. Adaptive snow sports allow people with disabilities to enjoy the outdoors and freedom of movement.

We achieve this goal with the aid of special equipment and instructors trained for each disability. Sports and recreation are significant factors in enhancing the quality of life of people with disabilities.
